ST-2 is a broadcast communications satellite made by Mitsubishi Electric. It was sent off on May 20, 2011 on an Ariane 5 ECA rocket from ESA’s Guiana Space Center in a double send off mission with GSAT-8. a ST-2 is a trade for the ST-1 satellite. It is worked around the DS2000 shuttle transport. It is in geosynchronous circle at 88 deg. East, and is worked by the ST-2 Satellite Ventures joint organization of Singapore Telecommunications(SingTel) and Chunghwa Telecom. It gives hand-off administrations over the Middle East, Central Asia, India and Southeast Asia.
