Match Day 15 encounter, with Juventus taking on Udinese on Sunday the 3rd of January, 2021, at Allianz Stadium.
That was… quite a shock… Juventus hosted Fiorentina in their last 2020 match, about two weeks ago, a Fiorentina side that had… forgotten what it feels like to win a game, having not won in eight consecutive matches. Somehow, Juve went 0-1 down less than three minutes into the game, and then they did their… best to “help” Fiorentina triumph; Cuadrado received a direct red card in the 18th minute(!), and Alex Sandro scored an own-goal in the 76th, making it 0-2 for Fiorentina. Juventus were… broken, and not only they didn’t shorten the gap, but they conceded again(!), to lose 0-3, a… hard to believe result. Same day, they found out that their game against Napoli will go ahead, they “lost” the three points they had been given early in the season, when Napoli failed to travel to Turin. Their current form reads; LWDWW. They are on 24 points from 13 matches, 6th(!) in the table. They have 6W, 6D and 1L, the defeat to Fiorentina was their first of the season in Serie A. Goals, 25 scored, 13 conceded. Coach Andrea Pirlo started the game with a 3-5-2 formation, but of course, after having a player sent-off super early, he had to… adjust his plans.

Udinese hosted Benevento in their last 2020 game, having stayed undefeated in six Serie A matches. That undefeated run came to an end, as Benevento… shocked them, with a 0-2 win. Their current form reads; LDDWW. They are on 15 points from 13 matches (they have one in hand), 12th in the table. They have 4W, 3D and 6L, more defeats than anything else, but, as previously mentioned, just one in their last seven matches. Goals, 14 scored, 17 conceded. Only Parma and Crotone have scored less goals than them thus far this season, both teams either right above or below the relegation line. Coach Luca Gotti played a 3-5-2 formation against Benevento, with Pussetto and Lasagna up front.

Juventus hosted Udinese twice last season, they beat them 3-1 in Serie A, and 4-0 in a knockout Coppa Italia match.

A 2-0 victory for the hosts is predicted at full-time.
Date: Sunday, 3rd of January, 2021.
Venue: Allianz Stadium
Kick-off time: 20:45 (GMT+2).

Final score:

Juventus 4 – 1  Udinese
